When you hover your mouse over them, it will show
1) If word is not found in dictionary and it has no suggestion also, then original word will be shown. You can edit it as you like or keep it and press Replace. ReplaceAll will replace same word instances throughout the document.
2) If word is not found but possible word suggestions are there, then it will show suggestions by default in pop up modifiable area. You can choose to modify or keep suggested word and click replace. If you press Replace, then it will not ask you to change it next time. ReplaceAll will replace same word instances throughout the document.
3) If you dont want to do anything, just click cancel and it will keep everything as it is.
This spell checker is designed keeping in mind following:
Step1: It searches the words in the dictionary of Gujarati Lexicon.
Step2: If not found there, it will check in frequently mistaken word (FMW) list which I created. This list also have frequently mistaken character list as well. So it will see that if we change that character and do we find the correct word.
Step3: If it is not found there, it will see if it removes pratyay(prat) e.g. ("shali" asin Balshali) and see if it is in dictionary.
Step4: If still not found, it will see if it removes PurvPratyay(Pprat) (e.g. "ati" asin Atidhanvan) and see if it is in dictionary.
If not found after all these steps it will keep the original word as answer and tell user to correct it. Since Gujarati and all other Indic languages are already having lakhs of rootwords and if we consider 100s of pratyays and PurvPratyays, the dictionary will become very big to process even. Hence, I have designed a smarter way to check the gujarati spellings. Currently all Gujarati spelling checker online are just doing a simple dictionary check which would give you many words as not found in standard dictionary but if we just adjust them with pratyay and purvpratyay, we can find the correct word.
